Hub & Lan Hikari (Pokemon AU)

What if Hub and Lan were Pokémon Trainers…? 🤔 (Their starter by the way is a blue Armarouge named Rock! ;D)

I always imagined that Hub and Lan would be twin trainers like Tate and Lisa, and travel around the world for new challenges and challengers!

Hub would still have his HBD, which means Rock the Armarouge would be not only the twins’ battle partner, but also Hub’s personal nurse, and try to use his psychic powers whenever his HBD gets bad. Also, the twins would be from Hoenn and then have to move to Unova for Hub’s sake, to be in a more specialized hospital for treatment (which is where the boys meet Rock), and for Dr. Hikari’s job. Despite this, Hub at least wants to try and be a great Pokemon Trainer, and so he and Lan end up traveling together, after Hub is given the okay to move around and travel a bit!

The N1GP would also be a huge Pokemon tournament (akin to the Pokemon League and the Pokemon World Championships), and Hub and Lan would barely win after battling Chaud and his partner, Blues the Ceruledge! This would cause both Hub and Lan to have a huge fanbase, and they’d try to spectate any battle they can that the Hikari Twins are in!

As for Dr. Wily, I’d imagine he’s a future evil Team Leader or Admin… not too sure though!
